BC Ferries
The ferry to Gabriola Island is a 25minute ride from Nanaimo Harbour, it runs roughly every hour. The last ferry leaves Gabriola at 11:30pm. There are options to park and walk on or drive a vehicle onto the ferry.

The distance between the ferry terminal on Grabriola and Dragon's Lodge is not walkable.
Gabriola Shuttle
There will be a shuttle booked to run from the lodge to the ferry terminal.
Accommodation Options
There are a small number of Hotels, Air BnB's, Guest Homes and other accommodations on Gabriola Island.
There is also a number of hotel options in Nanaimo.
Rustic Cabins
Dragon's Lodge has a small number of rustic cabins. These cabins do not have heat or mattresses. Bringing a sleeping pad and sleeping bag is necessary to stay cozy. If you are interested in this option please reach out to Darcy & Adam.
Gabriola Taxi and Delivery
There is a taxi service on Gabriola.
Airports
There are three main airports on Vancouver Island.
Victoria International - roughly 2hr drive to Nanaimo Harbour.
Comox International - roughly 1.5 hr drive to Nanaimo Harbour.
Nanaimo Airport - 30 min drive to Nanaimo Harbour.
Vancouver International + 2hr ferry to Nanaimo is do-able. We are happy to provide more info on this if needed.
